CAT is the brand by which Caterpillar Inc. is generally known. This Illinois-based American company specializes in the manufacturing of Cat Socksgraders, bulldozers, caterpillars and construction and mining equipment.
The logo of the company, founded in 1925, is characterized by the black writing “CAT” and a triangle on a yellow background, or by the white writing “CAT” with a yellow triangle on a black background. Cat is actually always associated with the yellow colour of its vehicles and machines.
Besides heavy machinery, Caterpillar also manufactures workwear and socks.
